You took the words right out of my mouth. USM = ECU, part II.
When UL, UC & a far less deserving USF got picked over the best program in C-USA, USM, we weren't happy but carried on without too much complaint.
In the second & now third rounds of expansion, we were once again passed up for markets, forget prior accomplishments on the field or court.
Again, we didn't like it, but have soldiered on, & have tried to be good conference mates.
For a school that was once in the Metro, it's very frustrating for us though.
The new schools from lesser conferences surely expressed dissatisfaction while being members of the Sunbelt or WAC.
To have programs lecture us, who haven't played a down in the conference USM help found & has been a rock-solid cornerstone in C-USA is disingenuous.
Should some our posters pipe down on the subject? Yes, in my opinion.
C-USA has & will be a good all-around conference. Basketball will be very good overall & something to give the conference real credibility.
We're here, & we plan on continuing being one of the marquee programs of the conference.
