Unfortunately, the only way that happens is if Rice has to come through the loser's bracket in Oregon, and then W&M or Binghampton win in Raleigh (for the latter condition). Not sure how a Rice vs. Ole Miss hosting arrangement would compare out for NCAA to select.
Ole Miss would likely get it since their seating capacity is over 7,000 if I remember correctly; whereas Reckling can seat just over 5,000 standing room only.
Thanks, Walt. I figured they might seat more than Reckling, but didn't know for certain.
Their capacity must be closer to 9,000 or 10,000, as the NCAA has released the latest attendance figures for this year and Ole Miss is averagin 7,999 per game (5th best in the country). We're at #15, averaging just over 3,200 (down a bit from earlier this year).
I should have just done a search. Wikipedia indicates has seats for just over 6,000 and capacity over 8,500. It set a new record in April 2013 for 11,729 - that's a lot of SRO.
