Neither Florida nor LSU has won the SEC for some time...
BTW, Tavon Austin just scored on Clemson again...
I guess that "some time" can mean whatever you want it to mean.
Both LSU and Florida have won the SEC within the past 5 years - LSU 2 years ago and Florida 5 years ago.
In addition, Florida tied for the SEC East last year but failed to get a shot at the championship due to the vagaries of a tie breaker.
Whatever dude. The ACC still only has 3 BCS bowl wins since the BCS was created. The ACC has lost 5 times as many BCS bowls as they've won...
But that's not what we were talking about. You said the top ACC teams couldn't beat the top SEC teams. Well they can and there's recent data to prove it.
Until they do it in a BCS bowl game, like WVU did with SEC Champion Georgia in the 2006 Sugar Bowl ( moved to Atlanta because of Hurricane Katrina), they haven't done it. When the ACC Champion beats the SEC Champion you can crow all you want. Until that happens, saying the ACC's best can beat the SEC's best is a false claim...

That's way too many rules my friend. First you say best teams. Now you say it has to be a BCS bowl game. Then you say it has to be the ACC champion vs SEC champion. Because of the BCS bowl tie ins, the ACC doesn't get to play the SEC much. As a matter of fact, the ACC hasn't played the SEC in a BCS bowl since 2005. That's 8 freakin' years ago.

They haven't been worthy of such a match up in that long. There's a reason for that, which is what I've been saying, and you've been ignoring, all this time...

Has nothing to do with worthiness. SEC is tied to the Sugar Bowl. ACC is tied to the Orange Bowl. Big East didn't have a tie so you could put them wherever you wanted to.

RE: College Football Attendance Numbers - 2012
Does anyone have the numbers for the FCS by program and conference?

Suck it, B1G.
I hope you were joking.
1. Your school will be in the Big Ten very soon.
2. Northwestern's numbers are closer to capacity.
3. Northwestern starts school after the football season starts.
4. Northwestern went 10-3 and won a bowl game, Maryland went 4-7.
Yes I was joking. Our attendance is embarrassing.
Haha, good. Hopefully the move will boost the numbers by a few thousand and help with recruiting.

Maryland and Rutgers will have to play OSU, Mich, Mich St, Penn St every year along with each other at a minimum. That's pretty much 5 losses for someone right there. Unless they get paired with Purdue or Illinois on the other side I can't see how they'll ever be bowl eligible. And if they really suck will the fans stop showing up. Just a thought......
MSU & PSU are beatable. MSU has lost to Central Michigan and PSU lost to Ohio last year and plays Kent this year which will be a tough battle for them

I am glad you think so but we (as in Kent) have a new coach and a lot of history of suck to give me a good feeling about being able to beat them. Then again I would love to do it and I love having the opportunity.
