RE: Beauregard the Rooster (Donnie) is hospitalized
The labs came back a little surprising this morning. My blood is much thinner than they were expecting (a little too thin). They still let me come home today so I am posting from my HOME COMPUTER :)

YEAH!!!! After 10 of 15 days in the hospital, it is good to be home.

Nope! It stands for "Tide", I think ... Damned BoT and their meddling!

Seriously, though, not visiting this site for several weeks and I come back to this???
Thank goodness you're doing better, BTR! You're one of my few collegiate heroes!
I'm just very relieved that you're doing better now, my feathered friend. I gotta meet you one of these days when you're back in this hemisphere for a while & I can make it back to B'ham. Until then, Godspeed!

RE: Beauregard the Rooster (Donnie) is hospitalized
Hi all - doing very well. I have walked 3-4 miles every day this week and no longer have any shortness of breath. My INR - blood clotting levels - is all over the place. First it was very low then way to high and now it is low again. Hoping to get it regulated.

No flying for a while.

And T doesn't stand for T*de.

I wish BTR would return and compliment Blaze. Maybe break him out and have throwback jerseys. The gold with Birmingham on them. Also have Gary do the PA again. Kind of a one game throwback deal.

fine don't get your panties in a wad ill play a long.

the T stands for Traherne. Tradionally roosters use their mothers maiden name as their middle name. Prior to the early 1900s their last names were usually the same as their owners which led to some confusion as many roosters eventually ended up with the same middle and last name. The confusion led to the practice falling out of favor and many roosters after around 1907 started to change their surnames slightly to ease the confusion and lessen the chance for inbreeding. But I digress. Beauregard's mothers family was once owned by Alan Bourdillion Trahrne of Texas (formerly Mississippi). Her southern heritage also explains her choice of Beauregard for his fist name.
