I have the NCAA Football 12 game (didn't bother to buy last year's version). I chose a school that had an fcs team scheduled in their 2011 season. I played UVA who had William & Mary in their first game of the season.
The game has me playing a generic fcs team called "FCS East Rhinos".
Basically, 7 of odu's 12 games will be played against generic fcs computer opponents and not real teams.
The Rhinos are wearing all white and white helmets with a blue trim. No symbol, nothing.
Sounds like it's worth 60 bucks!

If there was a way to edit the dynasty schedule and place user created fcs teams into it, that would be worth it. I doubt there is that functionality though.

Unfortunately you can't create an FCS team. You can create a team that is put into an FBS conference though. Kinda sucks.

Still think an add-on or DLC for FCS teams would make EA more money (I'd wager it'd be more than the costs of the developers too).

I am going to call this the "spoiled entitle brats who got into the fbs world way too quickly and it has gone their fans' heads" syndrome.

I just want the ability to play as Savannah State so I can get beat by 50 points by FSU and have the game called off in 3rd quarter.

When they came to our house in 2011 I was floored by the comments of their fans. I'm not talking about drunk college students. I'm talking about a 60 year old lady that was ready to throw down in line for the stadium.

Transitional year 1. We were transitional year 1 last year and weren't included. I don't recall there ever being a transitional year 1 included. Maybe it's because they play more FBS teams than the average move up(ie; GSU only played Tennessee and UTSA if you count them last season) at 5.

If UTSA was in last year it was only because they were pulled into WAC duty to fill in the schedules and they probably assumed they were already FBS.
