to play for Arkansas State" (you can substitute UALR). That's from the narcissistic jerk, Ron Crawford, who believes his players are simply "too good" to play for ASU or UALR. It's okay for them to play for the hogs, but otherwise they'll go out of State. I haven't seen much out of Mickelson, but maybe a great coach like Bill Self can turn him into a player.

I have no idea how good he is since I don't watch hog games, and I have no clue to any other offers he had when he signed with the pigs, but if those schools listed as his "top choices" when he signed, are actually interested in him, he must have some talent.

He's good enough to play for a lot of teams He could play and be a good player for ASU or UALR. He shouldn't have went to Arkansas and should have went to a different type of offense.

Rumors that he will visit Kansas and Butler. Is he really that good? It was obvious he would never thrive in Anderson's rag-tag system, but Kansas? Really? Hope this is not another Mitch Mustain saga- Mustain could have gone to Tulsa and probably done well. Instead he goes to quarterback U and never plays a lick. Mickelson would probably do well at UALR or ASU. Not sure about a Top 5 program like Kansas. However, with good coaching who knows.

Maybe Arkansas is becoming a farm club for Butler.
