Southern has more rock in the lady's room. You know we're freaking pumped about the additions. Preciate the positive in your post. We currently may only bring 20 whatever thousand to the game but if you've attended a game here you feel all of em. That said, the red brick facade that is the current theme of most of the new construction on campus and will be used for stadium expansion will be nice! Doak Campbell comes to mind. I'm looking forward to seeing this continued given the recent brick face lift looks nice.

I love FSU's stadium. It's probably my second favorite stadium behind Alabama, even though Nebraska ranks right up there as well to me. I really like stadiums that have a facade that don't show the underbelly of the stadium. Troy will never be able to have a facade to the stadium because it's built on a slope. But facade stadiums sure do look classy.
Yeah, Doak Campbell is awesome. I have flown over it many time leaving Rucker for Tallahassee.

Sounds like an intelligence problem to me. Maybe you should just give up. But he's right. You guys have the worst "FBS" stadium there is apart from Idaho.

Ooh...Good one. Did that take a whole 24 hours to come up with? We've got an FBS caliber team that gets FBS wins...something your school has never done. Until you do, we have the better team. Enjoy your 0 - ? record against the FBS and your 2A Texas high school stadium (don't care to look up the actual record).

Nt had never beaten the FBS teams we've played so you are o'fer as well. We both played Bama in 2011 and NT could not move the ball past midfield and Bama benched ALL the starters at halftime. We at least put up some points and gave the a hard fought game. Not sure NT's effort even qualified as a scrimmage for Bama.

FWIW - Most teams in TX are not going to play the same OOC FBS teams that teams in GA would. It's rare that they will have the same opponent in a given year. But, if you want to play oneupmanship, take it to the smack board fellas.

That said:

UNT - old Apogee wasn't a diamond in the rough and do you remember what BCS looked like before we renovated/upgraded? Gads, they just accepted the invite. Give them a year or 2 to get the renovations done.

GaSouth - Leave the records off this thread, it's about the stadium. UNT did a nice job with their new stadium; except that weird wing thing end zone.

RE: Favorite Stadium of the SBC.
The only possible explanation I could fathom for the goofy UNT endzone stands.

UNT Prez: Duck Tales was my favorite show. Does it still come on?

UNT Coach: I don't think so. Good show though.

UNT Prez: Woah, I just got an idea. What if we put a duck tail on the stadium? Like big flared group of bleachers? Then it would be like Duck Tales all the time with our duck tail!

UNT Coach: I don't get it, but I'm not really in a position to argue.

UNT Prez: Duck tail it is!

Colorado State? So you're telling me that georgia south's greatest accomplishment against the FBS world is a 24 point loss to Alabama? That's your bragging point? You're in for a rude awakening come 2014. And you have no room to bash any FBS school's football record. Your FBS record is worse. Once you pass us up in FBS wins, then I'll take you seriously.

They're going to start bragging about "moral victories" against AQ conference schools 03-rotfl Until you actually beat one of them, then we don't wanna hear it. We've all had games where we've come close to beating AQ schools, but nobody cares unless you get the W. I fear that they have the type of fans that will come here running their mouths every time they play one of those schools within two possessions...ANNOYING.
