I'm sorry, but is this shot from an actual game(as it appears to be)? Because if so half of a 16,000 seat stadium is empty.

RE: Favorite Stadium of the SBC.
1 .Texas State ( Really love the look of their new stadium. Its a nice edition and I think currently leads my school in best Stadium till we get our expansion off the ground)

2. TROY ( Could be bias but I really think we are top 3 in stadiums in this league, after our expansion which funds are being raised I believe we will be a clear top dog)

3. App State ( Nice Stadium like the press box, nice views. Get rid of that track tho)

4. Western KY. ( nice stadium, its small but its still a very nice stadium and views)

5. Arkansas State ( never really understood the tall and skinny press box but its still a very nice stadium)

6. Louisiana Lafayette ( Needs updating for sure but great atmosphere)

7. Louisiana Monroe ( also needs updating but has a nice Jumbo Tron)

8. New Mexico State ( Always been strange looking to me and could use some updating)

9. South Alabama ( USA fans know...Just get a new stadium OCS and out the ghetto. Still better than Legion Field 04-cheers

10. GA Southern ( Small and FCS like. I really dont like this stadium at all...Sorry GSU peeps :(

11. Ga State (Its nice but its not yours and an empty dome sucks for an atmosphere

12. Idaho ( I just hate this thing. I hate domes period anyway. Ill probably never visit this place)

The track relocation is a work in progess.

I must say, every Sun Belt Stadium is much better than most SoCon stadiums besides App and GSU-Statesboro, and the SoCon has some good stadiums per FCS standards.

Not a big fan of dig a hole in the ground and put a stadium in it. Feels like a big sinkhole with stands built around it

RE: Favorite Stadium of the SBC.
1.) Texas State. I really like how you cannot see the "skeleton" of the stadium. Its just a nice unique build. Without a doubt #1 of the Belt.

2.) Western Kentucky. It might be small but it has a completer stadium look. It needs expansion though.

3.) Troy. Nice medium sized stadium. Looking forward to making trips down to see you guys play Southern. Look forward to seeing the expansion plans.

4.) Louisiana Lafayette. Small, needs expansion but I have seen your guys plans and they are top of the line. I look forward to visiting before they are done and after.

5.) South Alabama- I agree with the previous poster you guys need a OCS but I like the history that your stadium has and the look. Ill be in Mobile when Southern comes down.

6.) Louisiana Monroe. It has potential but in my opinion its in a weird moment waiting for expansion. I do no like the stadiums that are just compacted and the "skeletons" visible.

7.) Georgia Southern. This in reality should be lower but I am putting them #7. In my view what the stadium will look like by fall 2014/2015 it will be in the top 5.

8.) App St. Once again currently I like how the stadium looks but not entirely (compact). But I have seen the expansion plans and like Southern will jump past South Alabama by 2015.

9.) Arkansas St. One of the few stadiums in the Belt that I have seen in person. I do not like this stadium at all. It looks cheaply build and in need of renovation. I would love to see some expansion plans if you guys have any, but as for the current stadium I whether be in the Boro or Boone.

10.)NMST- Besides the background, the unique design, and size all the current pics I have seen makes it aware that it is in need of repair. I would like more pics if you guys have any.

11.) Idaho st. I know you guys have alot of snow but domes that look like huge plane factories look cheap. And due to the limited growth potential (none) of the current stadium i have to put it at the bottom.

12. Georgia St. Yea i know i put South Alabama way up there. Their stadium actually looks like a college stadium and I hear they can fill more seats then you guys. Never liked the Georgia Dome cant wait til they build the new one. You guys should be thinking of away to build a stadium just for Georgia St. One alot smaller.

Not to sound stupid or anything, but whose stadium is the 9th picture down? The one after the exterior of the Georgia Dome shot. And I'm not asking because I'm going to pick them as my most favorite.

LOL. Thats ours, apparently in the dead of winter and a few years ago before they added some "highlights" in places. Probably not the most attractive option of photos to post.

I would appreciate it if the OP would replace it with this photo:

Absolutely...the photo in the OP is not a good photo. There has been some cosmetic changes in areas that are visable in the photo that you posted. I'm not saying we have the nicest, but the original just isn't a very good photo. Almost as much as the future deck, the endzone FOC building will do a lot for the overall look, imo.

RE: Favorite Stadium of the SBC.
Many debates raged when expansion of the stadium came up. The grass hills are awesome. Kids slide down those on cardboard boxes (I did when I was a kid too.) A lot of people were in favor of horse-shoeing the stadium, others thought the hills were too important to be "removed."

The new FOC is going to eat up a lot of the east endzone real estate, but I doubt the west hills will ever be infringed upon.

Call it small time if you want, but it's a great family atmosphere to see a game in... unless your family is from Boone, NC.

Georgia Southerm is in last place right now, but the current projects in progress will have things up to standards by the time SBC play starts.

Texas State- San.... I mean Texas State is far and away the best. I like Troy's and App's (w/o the track). Like YG, i am not a fan of the hole in the ground, unless you have a good grandstand rising up, and your bowl is complete, or finished looking (eg the sun bowl)

Since I'm a stAte fan, I won't rank them. I am bias. To the Georgia Southern guy who said our stadium sucks. 1. A full stadium beats every empty stadium every time. 2. Check out our $20 million dollar new full-size practice facility and locker rooms that will be in place by 2015. Our endzone facility looks better then your FCS stadium. Now to my rankings.
1. Tx St. - new, nice, hope you can keep it filled up with fans
2. Troy - also relatively new and nice
3. ULL - will be the best if they are able to renovate
4. App St. - Looks great from aerial shot but maybe a little deceptive in size.
5. ULM - similar to ASU. Also about time to renovate
6. NMSU - looks older but I love the configuration
7. WKU - Nice looking, just two small 22k capacity??
8. Ga. Southern - hope you have renovations in mind. It looks FCS
9. USA - Been to Ladd Peoples last two years to watch ASU IN GODADDY BOWL - older NO VIDEO BOARD - crazy
10. Ga. St. - Not your field
11. Idaho - sorry but 16k in an airplane hanger and using Wash. State's field? - embarrasing.
