Two unexploded IED's located and neutralized. These will be a forensic Gold Mine

Downtown Boston cell phone system crashed right after the first two detonations.

Usual Terrorist SOP is to have secondary IEDs on command detonation to take out First Responders. Cell Phone system crashing might have prevented their detonation.

Is there an exact quote that ties in "Tax Day" as a motivation to the bombing?

This is all I see

Quote:Unknown cause for explosions

It is unknown if the explosions are the result of a terrorist attack. Officials have not given any indication of what triggered the powerful explosions.

The politics of this could be interesting....depending on the religious beliefs of the people who did this, we just might have another case of workplace violence.

NO. The quotations are mine. I'm not sure of the exact wording. Only that there is several people mentioning something about the fact that today is tax day.

I'm not aware of any tax day terrorism events. ARe you?

NY Post

NY Post says suspect apprehended. saudi national. It's the NY Post so take it with a grain of salt.

A federal law-enforcement source confirmed to The Post there are at least 12 dead and nearly 50 injured. Fox News reported that Massachusetts General Hospital was treating 10 people with amputated limbs and all operating rooms were on hold.

Authorities have a identified a suspect, a Saudi national, who is currently being guarded in a Boston hospital with shrapnel wounds.

Nicholas Kristof ‏@NickKristof

explosion is a reminder that ATF needs a director. Shame on Senate Republicans for blocking apptment

The police commissioner of Boston just said that there was a third uncontrolled incident at the JFK library.

Wow, who would have ever thought that a Saudi would want to harm Americans?

Heh. I'd just read this on Reason Hit n' Run's comments section:

"Please God let it be an angry white male who once voted Republican"

Every single MSNBC employee right now.

Normal: Best wishes to those involved in the tragedy.

Snarky: Clearly could have been prevented with bomb control or making bombs illegal. Double irony given how this year's Boston Marathon had several Newtown memorial elements.

Political Realist: Get ready for TSA at all major sporting events.

Gawd, is this going to be like 9-11 where every half-hour something else happens?

Sorry if I confused you with the quotations. I wasn't trying to quote someone.

I was simply trying to explain that it's what some people on yahoo are calling it.

I hope not. CNN reporting more bombs being found.
