I didnt say that. I would gladly accept an AAC or MWC invite if it came along. Ive debated looking at the MAC.

You and I both know we get absolutely zero attendance increase, and almost zero in terms of donation increases from accepting a move to CUSA. I want something that will improve our program, not offer us more games that I cant watch on TV, and a national perception that is just as crappy as what we have now.

Why can't you watch us on TV? Do you not have basic cable?

CBS College Sports is not on basic cable. There is no guarantee any Fox Programming will be either.

I have always had respect for stAte, but some Lafayette fans are hysterical. Two decent seasons under Hudspeth and the Cajuns are now world beaters instead of the below average team of history that could barely get 10k to a game?

Y'all talk about Southern and App's cockiness and swagger but those schools have at least been strutting for years in their classification.

Looks to me like Lafayette is on the right path with a good coach but I get the same puzzled look telling people ULL is in our new conference as ULL people probably get mentioning Southern.

Maybe you should find a new television provider. I paid a small fee for it when I had Suddenlink and now I have DirecTV and it's a standard channel.

You have no clue as to our attendance over the years...if you are going to comment about UL at least get the facts straight..

Well, I pretty much have to agree with you Cliff. I have some Cajun friends on here, but ULM is chopped liver to them and we are not on C-USA's radar nor does stAte or the Cajuns want us involved. Never quite known why we are the red headed stepchild.

No choice. My rental agreement means I don't get to choose my TV provider.

If you'd been through it with them you'd have better feel for their position.

Well that is a crappy rental agreement. When I rented we could have whatever we wanted.

Eh...its never been a big deal to me because Ive always known that I can watch ASU through ESPN3, and I rarely watch other non AQ teams play outside of the SBC. For me, it made no sense to spend an extra 15-20 bucks per month to watch Fox Soccer, CBS SPorts, Tennis Channel and the other networks no one watches.

If you paid attention to TV ratings, you'll notice that no one else watches CBS College Sports Either.

That's a major thread of its own.

For the moment at least you'll have to take comfort that you are the SBC "Giant Killer".

Agreed. We have a much better national perception, than our perception in our own conference we helped start.

Thats because you and Appy will be in the same boat as Troy and ULM. All 4 of you are in the Sun Belt for the loooooong haul.

It is because of UL that ULM is even in the Sun Belt at all. It was part of the condition of the name change, we get the votes to get you into the Belt. In turn you agree to the name change and support our move to brand athletics as UL.

Please tell me how did hat work out for the Cajuns?

No we don't talk about App State arrogance, just GaSo. We have never averaged below 10K for a season never during out 1-11 year. We are also one of the Top 3 programs in the Sun Belt since 2003.

Look we get it, GaSo was he big kid on the block in FCS, but let me tell you something 6 teams from the Sun Belt last year would have won the FCS Championship with just the two deep.

Its because you say ULL. We are known as Louisiana or UL or Ragin Cajuns,, the most popular nickname in College athletics... Look it up.
