Speaking of Rice, everyone remember Tyree Graham?? Was committed to Mike Davis for a few weeks before switching to Rutgers.. he did an interview on ESPN today.
He didn't know you couldn't cuss on live TV so nsfw.. I don't know if they'll put up the whole interview or not.

He was the guy who kept it close, scoring a number of baskets down the stretch including their last one.
"I've let so many people down," Rice said Wednesday morning. "My players. My administration. Rutgers University. The fans. My family, who is sitting in their house huddled around because of the fact that their father was an embarrassment to them. And it's troubling. But at some time, maybe I will try to explain it. But right now there is no explaining it for what's on those films. I was wrong."

Even that is going to be problematic now that coaches have to realistically assume they have a player or two who IS gay. 'Bleeping fairy' could easily be misinterpreted as "I know your secret" to someone who hasn't yet come out.

Okay, lets get to where the rubber meets the road. Once in the work place, racial, gay bashing was okay...
Go to work tomorrow and called the first, straight or gay person you meet, You bleeping Fairy, and see if management feel the same, and also see how long your butt will be employed.
Again, I said this was inappropriate. It isn't language I use. It isn't language I condone. But, homophobic is a bit of a stretch to me. From Websters:
: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals
I don't even believe the guy deserved to keep his job. All I have been saying is this is getting blown out of proportion.
To me, homophobic is the football player who says I don't want a gay guy on my team, or he can be on my team, but when we shower he needs to go somewhere else.
It's fine, we are all entitled to our own opinions. The bottom line is the guy got what he deserved.

The AD, Pernetti, worked the deal that got Rutgers into the Big Ten. Normally that would be a firewall that would save his job, but this scandal may take him down yet.
An assistant coach shown on the videos being an ass like Rice has resigned. His name: Jimmy Martelli. Yes. He is Phil Martelli's son, who abuses players by not allowing them to transfer.

Did he learn his people skills from Rice, or from daddy?
