Nice post.

Use the most horrific injury we have ever seen to attack a poster here just because you don't agree with their posts.

And you want to claim the moral high ground? What a joke.

I posted after the Noel injury that that it was a tough break and he was a good kid that would recover and be a lottery pick in a few months.

But I also did the nutkick to Cal because it meant they were screwed now.

Now we have people who don't like me posting this garbage all the time claiming I was "laughing" at the kids injury.

Rob dislikes me so this is acceptable to him. Showing his true colors.

RE: NTR-Kevin Ware injury
I think it was so horrific for the players to see it so up-close, that several of them felt nauseated and light-headed. I can understand that.

But kudos to the player who was able, mentally, to go over and hold his hand first and keep patting him on the chest. That is one heck of a kid. 04-rock

I kept thinking that if it had happened to one of our players, Josh and our trainer and assistant coaches would have been right by his side.

Prayers to this kid, and gratefulness to his fine physicians.

So they drop to their knees and start crying? Seriously? He broke his leg, he didn't die, he wasn't paralyzed. Not trying to start **** here, but their reactions were weird and I can't relate to what they did. Medical personnel or not, I'd have to go over there to assess how bad it was before having any kind of reaction. As for the bolded part, call me crazy, but how does their looking make his condition any worse in any way?

RE: NTR-Kevin Ware injury
I have seen something similar twice in professional wrestling. One was Yoko Zuno. Of course he was near 500 pounds but he had a injury where he had a compound fracture of his fibula/tibula area and it went through the skin. Another was WCW Sycho Sid who was pleading not to do a big boog from the second rope, but he had to do it anyway, so when he landed on his one leg, it basically gave way and snapped like it was a twig and it just dangled. Fortunately you couldn't see it because of his boot, but it was awful to see.

If you seriously do not understand the teammates reaction, Coach Pitino and Coach K's reaction (they were both brought to tears), the fans (that were close by) reaction, the commentators reaction, etc., then it is pointless to continue this part of the conversation with you.

They freakin heard his bones break and the bones came out of his leg. You make it sound like seeing that happen to a buddy would be no big deal. I'm not saying I would break down but I am pretty sure I would get a little weak at the knees.

Talk about banging someone's ******* head. Did you read the part where I said I can't relate to their actions? I guess that makes me some sort of ******* evil piece of **** right? An arena full of people and only the paramedics are capable of crisis reaction. Everyone else? They cry and I'm a ******* ******* because I don't get it. Other than to pat yourself on the back, why did you even reply in the first place?

That's my point, I get they'd be upset, not saying they shouldn't be. NOT SAYING THAT AT ALL. (despite what the Toledo poster wants to think I'm saying). I just don't get how they got so upset that they couldn't do anything but drop to their knees and cry without even knowing for certain what the injury was.

Bollocks. I know it is difficult to view & very gruesome, but it makes you really appreciate what you have.

I even watched the video of the kid in the Middle East who converted to Christianity get his head sawed off with a knife...video was about 20mins long.

That great for you but some people have a weak stomach for such things.

Don't expect everyone to see it the way you do. We are all different.

But you have no problem making fun of a KY player who blows out his knee..

pathetic.

I never really moderate this board nor do I ever intend to because y'all have a fantastic mod team. But this thread deteriorated quickly, and quite sadly...

But man, what a horrific injury. I watched it 2-3 times on youtube after the fact and felt for all of the kids that was on the floor and everyone that seen this live. Had to be the most horrible injuries I've ever seen in any sport. Hope he has a quick and speedy recovery.

I think they all knew it was a broken leg. It was hard to miss his leg hanging limp like that. Anyone who glanced at him knew what the injury was.

Just look at that pic.

That is just unreal. I obviously knew it was a bad break when I saw it live, but I honestly was hoping they were exaggerating a bit when they said the bone was sticking out. Props to the young man, no way I could have been even half as calm as he was if I saw my bone sticking out.
