I was thinking that it could be a career-ending injury. It very well could be, but for his sake I sure hope not.

Livingston had a torn ACL, MCL and PCL and he came back. But I'm not expecting to see Kevin Ware next year.

And yet he's already up and moving with crutches. It's just a broken bone, they heal back stronger than before in most cases.

^This. I have a ton of respect for Loserville - even as I hate them - and will be pulling for them to take it all. I'm very conflicted...

I say f Loise

That being said they are REALLY good this year

we were tanning their behinds until the refs took over.

Bad calls are part of sports we also get away with some calls to so it evens out.

Don't be that "fan"

We got beat by a better team in Louisville.

So how was it that the Tigers were called for 28 MORE fouls than their Louisville counterparts?
Memphis 48 fouls
Louisville 20
It is also precedent that the home team gets a bunch of calls on its home floor. So what happened that day?

I agree 100% but some of these maroons won't even consider it, I think they think it emasculates them to do so.

The 2008 Memphis team would beat this Louisville team by double digits. Rose, AA, and CDR would absolutely abuse the small Louisville guards. To stay in the game Lousiville would have to call off the press and play zone 75% of the time.

This Louisville team is good, but lets not go crazy.

I won't even honor this post with a response.

THIS 2012-2013 Memphis team had Louisville down by double digits. The refs called 28 more fouls on Memphis (Big East refs at that) on Memphis' home floor.
IF the fouls called were even...say 20-20 or even 30-30..Memphis would have won that game.
Consider that even though Louisville got all of those calls...they only won by 9 points.

*EDIT* I need to make a correction. Louisville got 46 free throws...not 48. Still, they made 38 of 46 free throws for 82.6%. Take away 18 free throws, and Memphis wins in the neighborhood of 7-9 points. (See I am not afraid to admit if I make a mistake)

Thought this was worth sharing.

Pretty funny: The Top Ten things going through Kevin Ware's mind when he broke his leg:
Quote:10. “What was that loud cracking sound?”

9. “I hope this doesn’t leave a bruise”

8. “Hey look — my tibia!”

7. “OUCH”
