Louisville is solid. Most complete team since Memphis 08, minus the freethrow shooting.

They didn't even cut down the nets. They got their trophy and all left as quickly as possible to go to the hospital. That's pretty awesome.

RE: Go Louisville
As a closet Cardinals fan, I am thrilled that they put it to the Blue Devils like they did today. I missed the first half (thankfully) due to family Easter dinner and came in at the beginning of the second half.

What a masterful and motivating performance by Louisville and Coach Pitino. We definitely have a friend in him and the Louisville family (whether you like it or not). I know many Louisville fans (my family included) and not one has ever said a negative thing to me about Memphis or the Tigers. They want to see the Tigers succeed and catch up with their school athletically as much as we do.

Heck, even UK fans I know are pulling for the Cards (long before today's game, I might add).

Heard part of Pitino's post game interview on the radio and he confirmed it was a double leg (compound) fracture and very similar to (Cardinal running back) Michael Bush's injury a few years ago. With surgery and time, Kevin will be back in uniform this time next year, but it's doubtful he will be able to play until the following season. Poor guy.

Wow!! What a day for that school! Can't believe that Griner won't be mega-hyped for the rest of tournament.

03-shhhh Actually, I LOVE it.

I'm happy for the Cards too....I feel a little dirty saying that, but it's true!

The 2008 Memphis team would beat this Louisville team by double digits. Rose, AA, and CDR would absolutely abuse the small Louisville guards. To stay in the game Lousiville would have to call off the press and play zone 75% of the time.

This Louisville team is good, but lets not go crazy.

Bad calls are part of sports we also get away with some calls to so it evens out.

Don't be that "fan"

We got beat by a better team in Louisville.

So how was it that the Tigers were called for 28 MORE fouls than their Louisville counterparts?
Memphis 48 fouls
Louisville 20
It is also precedent that the home team gets a bunch of calls on its home floor. So what happened that day?

Please don't change this thread to another idiotic whine session about foul counts and referee conspiracies. There were several threads on this back in December.
