Not nearly as many as threads about:

1. How wonderful it will be to be in a conference with Liberty, ASU, GSU2 (the other batch), Sam Houston, Florida Southwestern, etc.

2. How NMSU sucks.

3. When ULM is mentioned in the media as a "contender" in anything.

That's funny as I think most Cajun fans think exactly the opposite of our AD. I think most Cajun fans would want to get out of the SBC and leave our AD in the SBC. ;-)

You have it the exact opposite. Our AD, Scott Farmer has done everything in his power to keep the Cajuns in the SBC. He is trying to stay associated with Troy and bring in Ga Southern because that is the schools that he has ties too.

Cajun Fans want to get out of the Sun Belt because our peers aside from stAte and WKU have all bolted.

There is no blind loyalty to the SBC. Most of our posters are fairly calm and rational though.

Don't care what anyone says, I think it's awesome Louisiana is hyping their master plan and making it an "event" for the unveiling.

It's that sort of stuff, in my view, that builds excitement about it, and energizes donors to contribute to it.

The point is that here, there are no donors.

No one here donates to ULL, except the people who knew about the Master Plan 2 or 3 threads ago.

What a silly comparison. Obviously none of the schools were that important, but they were solid FBS programs and have to be replaced by transitional FCS teams.

It's a big deal to the Belt.

Your right, we are not losing destination programs, but we are going to gain some no name bottom feeder FCS programs.

We lost 60% of the Sun Belt's bowl appearances.

We've talked about a ton of schools...most of them not seriously...including those on your list.

Even so..most of those on your list STILL have more experience than Charlotte.

Loyalty? Nah, We're rational though. We understand that there is little to no chance we get left out of a league period, and we also understand and trust that our AD and President are doing everything possible in terms of realignment.

If our AD and President come back and say that after research they have determined that the SBC is the best possible fit for ASU, and commit to the league long term, most of our fans would be just fine.

If they come back and announce that we will do everything in our power to get out, because they feel it is in the best interest of the school, then our fans would be just fine.

As long as we know there is no chance we turn into an Idaho or NMSU, our fans will deal with it. If this had been our previous administration in charge, a lot more people would be freaking out right now. Last year we couldnt go a week without someone starting a thread about how the SBC was going to die and we would be left independent. Those threads are much less frequent now.
