People from all across the spectrum and various stages of my life call me an a-hole too, so I can't possibly hold that against him. As for the dysfunctional government, you can hardly blame him for that. He's but one senator, in one house of Congress, in one branch of government.

Yeah, but he's my Senator. I'm pretty used to not agreeing with or liking a lot of the people who represent me (see Perry, Rick) but Ted's been taking it to a whole new level.

I mean this is a guy who got a reputation for being an elitist at *Harvard Law School* - reportedly he announced he was forming a study group, but only those who graduated from the "Big Three Ivies" would be allowed.

My favorite story is that at Princeton he would put on a paisley bathrobe and hang out in the girls end of the dorm. I'm sure they found that charming.

I have to admit, in some sense I love that Ted Cruz exists.
