#11 Butler lost at HOME to last night to Charlotte (RPI 55). Butler also lost AT Xavier (RPI 87).

We really need to win that Xavier game. I think we might be better off losing at home to USM, at UCF or at UTEP than losing at Xavier.

From a perception standpoint it's better to finish 15-1 in C-USA and win at Xavier than it is to finish 16-0 and lose at Xavier.

Depends on that one...

I'd say a loss at home to 200+ Houston hurts as much if not more than a win at Xavier helps.

We don't need to lose a home game. That's a death sentence.

We don't need to lose any of these games.

At least a home loss to USM won't probably knock you out as an at-large in NCAA.

02-13-banana Why is everyone talking about losing? Hell, we should be talking about how bad we are going to beat these teams. There should be confidence in our ability to win all of these games. If you think you are going to lose then it is much easier to actually lose. We need to only think of winning and going on the the tournament.

ESPECIALLY since the remaining ones are Houston, USM and UAB

Neither would losing at Xavier... But when you are short of quality wins, you better get those brownie (RPI) points from beating a top 100 team on the road.

Agreed. That's why I didn't list that game.

If this team keeps playing lights out defense and knocking down shots we will not lose another regular season game. Our defensive intensity has been huge the last two games and the offense flows from the defense.

We do not need another loss period. In the case of Memphis a loss will kill us. We will be looking at an 9-11 seed at best and that's with winning the C-USA title. Just play ball and win!

I disagree regarding our defense. I think our offense has been great the last two game. And while I think defense against UCF was better than defense against USM, I still think we can improve on D between now and March.

I don't think we can play much better on offense than we have the last two games.
