And UNT just for fun.

I know losing your last 3 to us must have been very frustrating.

Marshall has the best fans in CUSA; only Southern Miss fans come close (in a close second).

I may try to make the trip this year to watch us play them at the Joan; I would freeze my a$$ off, but I am pretty sure they would keep me warm with booze and friendship...

Marshall fans are great hosts, but the Southern Miss fans actually support their team better by far.

You may want to put ECU three times on your list since Tulsa has lost three in arow to ECU. ECU has 19 starters, both kickers, former SEC DC as its new DC, and let not forget the 6'8" receiver who beat Tulsa the last time we played. FYI

C-USA is moving on and as long as USM is a part of the conference I expect it to move on as well and not look into the rear view mirror only to become stagnant. There is potential in our new members and in some cases we are already getting better teams on the football field. Memphis isn't as tough a team as MTSU, Tulane is inferior to La. Tech so in these cases it is a better football opponent. Sure USM played Memphis every year but one since 1952, but before we ever played Memphis we were playing La. Tech. I wish all the teams moving on the best but if you think losing you is a death blow then you are not correct.

I agree. I think CUSA did a great job bringing in both quality and geography.

Imagine the case for us (Houston). nBE is basically a revolving door.

Very pleased that we'll be hosting the Pirates before you guys bail out. I have admired your program for a long time and am glad to be able to see at least one game with you guys.

Thanks...........MT is a short non-stop flight and a reason to attend an away game. Look forward to playing MT and visiting Nashville, too.

If Marshall was in as warm of a climate then we'd average that many fans too...

However, they didn't do too good of a job supporting the team this year.

Winning fixes everything... And I think if Marshall has the same record as Southern Miss and wins a Conf. championship... We'd average 35k+ easy

I don't agree with that "then on out" part, but in response to your question, zero equals zero, and that's my interest level in both cases. CUSA should be broken up between the Big East, Southland, and Southern conferences.

I'm looking forward to the new CUSA. I like most of the teams coming in. Huge upside for this group.

I agree eagleX. If you think about it they are only truly playing for about 1 hour. With the time between plays, change of possession, timeouts, halftime, and other delays they are actually only knocking heads for about an hour. I got your thinking there

Truth be told, the conference is going to be fine and frankly I don't think we are any worse off. I am proud to get La. Tech and MTSU both programs that are going to put fine teams on the football field and other sports. I don't know about the Florida schools but frankly I remember South Florida as a new team just playing Division one ball, and another team Central Florida who had not been around long either. North Texas has been around awhile and looking at them, they seem to be a serious program. UTSA I honestly believe is going to take off and be a force in short time so all in all I say give it time and frankly I like it as much as I did the first set of teams in C-USA based on the level of play. We need to show something in the OOC games because we are suppose to be one of the key teams in this conference and we have been since it started.
