My wife is in Orlando for a few days and I have to get my daughter off to school. I can handle feeding, dressing, etc., but struggle with doing her hair. Any tips?

1) let her do her own hair
2) pray
3) comb it yourself and duck
4) call up one of her babysitters to help you
5) ignore it and pray your wife doesn't notice
6) pull it into a pony tail
7) get a wig
8) convince her that daddy used to be a stylist in an earlier life (maybe in the cro-magnon era)
9) try massive amounts of hair gel
10) get her a big head band or knit hat (last two are Nori's contributions)
11) go Rastafarian ?
Tried all when Nori was about your daughters age, none worked for me, but who knows?

Well I did take her to school armed with a brush and winders, as her teacher said she'd do it if I failed miserably.
If I could pull it into a pony tail would I be seeking advice? :muttering:
Tried the headband, looked too much like Hillary.
I use tons of hair detangler and she still squawks like a dying animal.
Well thanks anyway. I was sure you or Whinny would have a solution

That week was life changing.
I have scrunchies, I can never get them tight enough. My wife promised to get me extra practice before she left and it never happened. As always it's her fault.
My students are always braiding each others hair. I never realized how freaking talented they were.

Hot in July, Mandalay is money, and by money, that can be taken any way you want it to, because it's expensive. Great pool, amenities, everything. You don't have to leave.......but you will.
There is a train type shuttle from MB that whizzes you to Excalibre or Luxor so you do have that easy connection to at least those venues, which would be nice in the heat.
