Is that what he did really? I saw someone mentioned it in another thread, but didn't think it was for real.
I was told REAL loud over and over and over.
HAHA!!! No wonder, I would go nuts.

It's almost like you want people to complain so you can have something to complain about.
I started a positive thread last night and asked the mods to close it because the first 2 replies were negative.
Many of these so-called fans would be right at home in our screwed up House Of Representatives.

FTR, I think Pastner is fine for now, But let's face it. He did his job last night. He beat a mediocre to good team.
Pffff. He beat a rival in their house in front of 19000 fans without arguably his best player. Big game, big stage. A big part of the win was his pre-game prep. Their leading scorer scored 4 points. Pastners team lead for 39 of 40 minutes and never trailed.
MC, do I need to remind you that a 2-3 zone with man principles is not impressive despite the fact that we've never done it? We had more talent. That's why we won. It wasn't the combination defense of DJ, Adonis, and Ferro playing the entry pass to stokes well.
Not to mention that we hit miracle shots and what's-his-name was injured.
/sarcasmoff
No, I agree. Give Pastner all credit. He DID beat an instate rival with their 19,000 +/- obnoxious jump-suit-wearin' fans present and screaming. I do give him credit. It was a job well done. He prepared our Tigers well. They executed the plan, and didn't lose composure when TN made their run.
But let's, PLEASE, see this victory for what it really is. A win over a team ranked in about the 50s to 60s. This was NOT a top 25 team. I am MUCH more impressed with the way we played Louisville (ranked in the top 10), but was disappointed with Josh's inability to "work" the refs in that game. Those details are what separate good coaches from great coaches.

Do you really think it would have made enough of a difference to actually win vs. Louisville IF Coach had "worked" the refs ?

I have a feeling that Josh could have pointed a gun at two of the refs in the Louisville game and they would have still made the same calls. I don't know how him screaming at them would have changed a thing. He yelled at them plenty. When they gave Joe that BS 5th foul I thought Josh was going to have a stroke right then and there.

I suppose you and Mrs J are correct. However, you never know how your team will react to getting a Tech, or at least taking it to the limit with a ref, if it NEVER happens. NEVER. Personally, I would have a defeatist attitude after realizing my coach isn't going to have my back, so to speak.

Believe me, they KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt he has their back, always. They also know his personality and how he is.

Memphis was without Black as well. Now, Memphis can afford the loss of Black because Pastner has recruited well. Martin has recruited Yemi Makanjuola and Dwight Miller. If this series continues, it will be more of the same.
