I finally figured out that life is indeed too short to let any of it get into my head.

Savor the wins as long as you can.

Forget the losses as quick as you can.

Laugh at the silly doomers/gloomers. Have some fun slyly getting into their heads on occasion.

The same sun comes up every morning even if it happens to be behind a cloud at times.

Getting away from this board and the media for a few days makes it all go POOF.

Also, it helps me a lot to think of things like Shaq's smile, Antonio's "I got this" free-throw wink, DJ's flying hops and his smile, Tarik's sincerity, Joe's determination, Geron's attitude, plus all the great football Tigers I have met, like Mr. Poe, Cannon Smith, Robert Steeples, Cam Baker, and Kenyata Johnson. Not to mention all my Tiger friends! That is what being a Tiger means to me. Don't dwell on all the other drama. We have had that for decades.

Your former school has a winning FB team and is soon going to open a sparkling new BB arena. I'm sure they have room left on the bandwagon when you get tired of slumming with us.

Pretty much my own philosophy. That plus never, never, never give up.

Miss J I feel the exact same way sometimes. Wins help everything though. No doubt about it.

i never hate being a Tiger fan, never. for me its like being married. the vows you take....its rather easy for me. its all about being loyal. if you can grind through the tic price and johnny jones era, everything becomes simple. as for our present team, we have alot to cheer for and be glad about. i love being a Tiger fan all the time!

saying "sometimes i hate being a tiger fan" is like saying.....sometimes i hate being married to my wife. which i dont feel that way nor would i ever say it.

I just wonder if other programs have this same problem. It does get annoying here with all the SEC drool. I wanted to listened to some sports radio yesterday at work and had to turn it off before I puke. It was unbelievable.

But yes, I do recognize that on message boards and unfortunately at the arenas we have some real incredibly nonsensical often oddly hateful a$$wads.
