Mike Aresco has to be the worst conference commissioner ever. He has failed at absolutely everything that he has done. I am beyond PO'd that he screwed this one up.

So the MWC whored themselves out to Boise. I doubt uneven revenue sharing in today's world is a good recipe for conference solidarity. This alone might keep SDSU out of the MWC as well and allow the BE to poach teams from the MWC. Who knows?

I don't want to be in a league where a team has it's own special tv deal. That's absurd.

if i were the BE, i would go after one of those MAC teams like Northern Illinois or Kent St.

I would just as soon San Diego State stay. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

It may have been a sinking ship before he started, but Aresco is starting to look pretty pitiful when The Hair takes you down.

At this point I'd spitefully take everyone who will come and form an all-sports West with SDSU as the anchor. But whatever. Short-term gain is all that matters to any of these pricks.

SDSU will also stay in the Mountain West, I predict, and the New Big East will remain an eastern conference with a bucket of old CUSA teams and no national relevance. There have been many ill-advised decisions by Big East Commissioners, but the one admitting Tulane and ECU stands right at the top and has made this league a grab bag and a laughing stock. The post-2013 Big East now has neither football nor basketball relevance.

I'm surprised MAC schools rarely come up for poaching. I guess its because of the markets.
