Bowl uniforms?
CMU has new ones, not sure what I think until I see them on the field. May be old news here but there is mention that NIU will get bowl unis too.

Other teams, including Texas A&M, Michigan, Mississippi State, and Northern Illinois, will also don new jerseys in their bowl games, but CMU will debut its first when the Chippewas face the Hilltoppers on December 26.

Oh man, this should be interesting. Curious what they will look like. I actually already really like our road unis so I hope they don't do something stupid like ND did at soldier field

Awwww man...our road uniforms are solid now...why mess with them?

I guess as long as the players like them I am down with it.

hopefully going back to the old NI of the 90s. Bring back the LeShon era.

RE: Bowl uniforms?
at minimum i expect something similar to look like CMUs...a couple jagged lines here and there, with logo on the spandex under shirt. But, we are playing at a nationally renowned bowl, so i would not be surprised if they were as drastic as ND's (vs. miami) uniform. Adidas would put more money into the higher profile game i would imagine

Agree with that.

The only silver lining I can see to this is that our uniform supplier is Adidas. The ugliest uniforms in college football that I've seen were made by Nike for Oregon and Under Armour for Maryland. I do expect better out of Adidas.

NIU probably got a shipment of UConn or Washington jerseys by mistake and is making the best out of a bad situation.

True,
I think Adidas products tend to be a bit classier

RE: Bowl uniforms?
I know I'm the only one, but I loved the Under Armour unis for Maryland that had the state flag blended in. It's too bad Illinois' flag is boring, because that would make a ******* statement. NIU, the best program in the state, our team, Chicago's BCS team, out on the field in the Orange Bowl, with the Illinois flag woven into our jerseys. Talk about showing up every other garbage program in this state. But yea, I'm with 7, go over the top, stitch some real Huskie fur into our helmets or something. America is gonna remember this team of Huskies.

Ew, the Oregon and Maryland uniforms were unworthy of being toilet paper even.

The only thing that matters to me is winning the damn game. If we win, we could wear pink uniforms and I'd be happy.
