Probably be a clone of the CMU ones, I hope they don't do the dull helmet like Boise has been doing. Uniforms have gotten out of control.

I hope that they do not mess with the helmets. We have the BEST helmets in college football.

Are u kidding me? I love our helmets but if we had a helmet like Boise st flat black with a Huskie wrap around that would be amazing!!!

The sleeves are the new "in-style" nowadays, so I'm sure those will definitely be included. Helmets probably won't be touched.

I would love our helmets to be the black they are now but with an oversized huskie head like there is now but a little off tilt too. I think that would look cool.

I liked them too. Being born in Maryland also has something to do with it. Maryland's state flag is kickass.

Has NIU confirmed when they will show the new unis. Having to wear white kind of reduces the options.

It'll be a white, Huskiefied version of whatever template Adidas is pushing (there's no time for a real custom job). The players will love it because who doesn't love new stuff.

as a uniform nerd I've always dug when teams get special uniforms for their bowl. I know the whole package is really going to be about Adidas promoting itself, but dammit, I'm happy NIU gets to be that corporate whore for once.

Please no matte helmets- that trend is over, the teams going that direction just don't know it yet. And no chromed anything on the helmets- it just wouldn't look right.

Hopefully we have players' names on the back. CMU is doing "Chippewas" on the back nameplate.

Also for the CMU pic...I thought it was a rule that numbers had to be on the side...are they on the helmet or pants and we just cant see them?
