Kila is the only guy on this team who is capible of ripping off a 8 point run on his own. Thats exactly what he did during that crucial run to start the second half which effectively ended the game. This wasn't a vintage performance for Kila in terms of shooting, but then again no one shot the ball that well last night. Its easy to tell that players from both teams were unaccustomed to the sight lines.

Cashmere Wright is still on the team right?

You definitely want Cash to have it with the game on the line, and cash can turn things around with two quick threes.

I thought that Cash msde a couple of cluth shots last night that killed some X momentum as well. Not real pretty but a good win anyway.

More than a couple of times he simply picked the pocket of the X PG. Quick hands, easy points.

I take my hat off to coach cronin. When Huggins was fired, I told friends that we'll probably never see a tough defensive team at UC again. When Mick was hired, I was glad to see it but felt that he'd be more offensively minded and the rebounding and defense just wouldn't be what Huggins gave us. Well, I was wrong. The man has brought it back and it's made UC basketball fun to watch again. Way to go, Coach!!!!!!!

Actually, if I had to give one guy an "A" for a great performance in that game, it would be Dee Davis for Xavier.

UC played superb defense, but the offense still takes way too many bad shots.

That first half offense reminded me of some we saw under Coach Huggins. Good to see the defense and rebounding remain constant even when the offense struggled.

3-6, 1-3 from three, 7 pts., 4 assists, 3 steals, 5 TOs, fouled out in 28 min. He toughed it out, but you have to be kidding me. I'd have started Guyn over him, much less Cash.

My sentiments exactly. He played well for a freshman in a big game, but his stat line was not impressive. You could say he was tough for playing through the cramps, or stupid for not hydrating enough before the game.

Myself, I thought it was awesome that X players were gassed and cramping up as we ran them into the ground.
