I mailed some thundetsticks to friends in Phoenix and they arrived in two days, yet it usually takes a full week after the postmark to get my sycamore water bill, which comes from walking distance.

RE: Ticket Update this week?
Could we see a bigger crowd than the Iowa game at Soldier Field?

2,727 tickets left on Stub Hub...about 200 have sold since this AM and there were over 9k a few days after the announcement.

Only a handful are left on TM with a few thousand on all the other main broker sites.

You would think FSU would pack the place, they have a ton of graduates living in Orlando and Miami, and it's a far drive, but doable from campus.

It appears that anyone making last minute plans will not be able to order through NIU, online anyway.

I don't think we are generating enough excitement amongst FSU fans for them to fill Sun Life stadium.

Maybe not a sell out, but they wouldn't need a lot of excitement to have a very big crowd, especially with how low stubhub prices were and the fact they sold their tickets at 50% off.

It's a big school (30K+ undergrads), with a massive fan base, and the game is in-state, and it's a holiday.

This probably means nothing, but the 2,500 tix left on stubhub is less than the Fiesta and Sugar Bowls have remaining. Checked out those tickets available and seems to be quite a few. Food for thought. Could be a good showing.

We're in 117, I guess it's in the same ballpark...

Yeah, the first time I checked it was over 10K on there. It should be a pretty good crowd.

RE: Ticket Update this week?
It'll be good to see a lot of Huskie fans here. My 12 year old daughter was convinced we'd be the only ones at the Orange Bowl wearing NIU shirts, as we usually are here in Miami. I told her there would be 10K screaming NIU fans there. This will be her first NIU football game in person, and how lucky for her it's the Orange Bowl in Miami. Talk about spoiled.

That being said I've met two other NIU alumni here in the last week, both of whom were wearing Huskie garb, as was I. We introduced ourselves, and it was nice hearing normal English again. Is "jagoff" still used up north?

Football success is doing wonders for NIU. I hope the students realize how big of a deal this is for name recognition.

"******" is considered a bad word on here? No one outside of Illinois knows what it means, ,but I'll be using it at the OB.
