Word going around that Xavier and Butler has agreed verbally to be a part of the C7 league. They will now be looking at 1-3 more schools to add to the mix. The schools being talked about are VCU, St. Louis, Creighton and Dayton.

I would add SLU and their awesome fan base and then you have 5 east coast and 5 midwest schools. They can always come back later for VCU and Dayton later if they feel the need to break into divisions.

Good to hear. Those 2 make sense for the new Catholic league. I don't wish them ill will, since their leaving will open the door for ECU to be all sports and not have to deal with the CAA.

That is by far the stupidest thing I've ever read,X is clearly on the decline amd Mack will make them irrelevant within a couple of years. Temple, Memphis,Uconn and Cincy>St.John's.
