Then why did Providence and URI combined average less than SDSU and 28 other schools last season? Must not be much of a CBB state if you get outdrawn by Alabama.

ESPN SportsCenter this morning said it themselves, "football killed the Big East". If the conference goes to all sports then it won't be named the "Big East". That name will most likely be retired. More like Big Metro or Big America since it'll be spread out.

We don't wear boots, it is flojos. And yes some have gone overboard.

For Pirate Marv, flojos are not shoes worn by indigenous people who you think are a different race and live with in Chicago, they are flip flops or thongs as none in the NE.

Hey moron, they did say that. I just repeated what was mentioned. They showed how it started out in 1979 as a basketball league only and then football was brought in to keep up with the rest of the country. They even ended the show with a tribute to the Big East with the Top 10 plays in Big East history.

I hope they get who and what they want out of the move. I also hope the leftover BE forms a more cohesive group than the old, with a Decent TV deal. Give me a 10 to 12 school BB league making over 1mil per year. and a 14 to 16 team All sports conf making 4 mil or more per year and I will be gold at this point.

Oh I'm a Moron for pointing out that ESpin has had nothing good to say about the Big East for years. Dude I have on thing to say to you.

I'm so disgusted with all the butthurt from fans of UNLV, UNM, Wyoming et al. on the MWC board that I totally get that your schools are simply doing what's best for you and there's nothing at all wrong with that. So whomever it is that's included, I wish you luck.

No, I just remember Xavier beating Cincy a lot. 3-7 against Xavier the last 10 years.

Best 10 year for X in their history, and 5 out of the 10 for UC were very difficult due to Cronin inheriting a team with 1 player and no recruits and no commits. We are back.
UC over X
UC over St. Johns
X over St. Johns.

NJ I could do a poll, but to save time, you come across like a huge cry baby.

Really? Because i stand up against butthurt posters who try to bash my school and those like it? You can do a poll all day but i just showed you how X has dominated UC over a decade and you make excuses.

Also UC is 5-5 against SJU since joining the BE. As you all know we have been down for 7 years and the best you could do in our worst era is 5-5.

You can have polls, ill just use facts.

Yeah, that Butler win was awesome. Great pick up there.

On a serious note to NJRedman and other C& fans.....good luck C7 I think in the long run this works out a lot better for everybody.
04-cheers Each side ends up with like-minded institutions for all their sports. I'm really excited about the future. In the end the FB schools end up with an all sports alliance that basically severs all the dead wood.
