Rumor I just heard. Anything to that?

He interviewed, but we don't have a new head coach yet. Brian Polian, ST coach @ A&M is a serious candidate as of today

Do ya'll have a drop dead date as to when La Tech wants to announce?

Can't have him, he is going to be our next A.D.

hopefully today/tomorrow. I know they are doing a lot of interviews to find the right guy, but I'm getting a little tired of waiting

I know it's frustrating, but do you want to go from a 9-3 season to a 3-9 season? Neither does your AD.. Hopefully they got the right person tabbed for you guys..

the AD won't be around much longer since they are just going to let his contract expire

The committee is rumored to be leaving Dallas and heading home around 3:30. Let's hope they got our new coach on board.

If true I hope we require him to bring in a spread OC. Our top RB had as many TDs as his entire offense this season.

Per Coaching Search..Skip Holtz just got the job offer at La Tech

Skip would be a good solid hire. I wish him and La Tech lots of luck if this ends up being the case.

Solid is a good word. I don't see him being another Ellis Johnson, but I don't see him busting the BCS either (or whatever the new system will be).

Didnt see this one coming. Don't know if it will excite your fan base much, but he will be a solid coach.

Yes, he left ECU with an embarrassment of riches and just look at the job he did for USF. They won some games.
