Bam! Pitt is (IT!) bowl eligible in 2012.

I am really, really, really hoping that we can have a Backyard Brawl in the Pinstripe Bowl. I saw on Panther-Lair that it's a possibility but not a probability according to sources at this point.

If the Pinstripe Bowl is going to take WVU, I don't know how they don't take Pitt. It's a great matchup on TV and live. If this matchup does come to fruition, I am almost certain I will be making a trip with my fiance to New York.

I'm just spouting off here but if we do get a Pinstripe Bowl invite would anyone else on this board be going? We could setup a meetup if that's the case and I think that would be awesome. I recently moved back home to Berwick, PA so I am about 2 hours from New York now and couldn't make it to Heinz for a game this year. Needless to say, I'm itching!

Listening to the radio on the way home it sounds like WVU will be going to the Holiday Bowl and we'll be heading back to Tampa in the Beef O'Brady Bowl. Things are always fluid when deciding best for where teams should go.
