Navy 4-3
Possible teams to add
Neveda 6-2
East Carolina 5-3
Fresno State 5-3
Brigham Young 4-4
Air Force 4-3
Army 1-6

I want to see Nevada and Air Force added right now. With the last (16th) spot goes to BYU or Fresno State. Then West East is well balanced.

Right now we have 8 eastern schools and 5 western schools. I really don't want to see either Navy or Memphis forced to be in the West Division.

I don't want to see Memphis forced over there either, but on the other hand I think Navy wants to be in the Western Division. If we get Air Force as #14 its ideal for them. They want to play AF and SMU every year, they want to play Rutgers and SDSU most years. Putting them into the West they get AF, SMU and SDSU every year and give them Rutgers as a crossover game bam they get what they need/want. Go to a 9 game conf schedule at that point. Figure a 6-1-2 format.

Navy:
Boise, SDSU, SMU, Houston, AFA, Memphis in Division Play
Rutgers as an annual crossover opponent
Two rotating East Division teams amongst the other 6

Want to piss Chris Petersen off? Bring in two chop blocking academies and place them both in our division.

Cut blocking, not chop blocking...but your point is a valid one.

Yeah, as an OL coach it's a pet peeve of mine when they are used incorrectly. 01-wingedeagle

How often do you think about what Tigers football could have been if Rex Dockery's plane had made it safely to Lawrenceburg?

Not one bit. I was 5 and growing up in SE VA at the time of his death...and have only the words and opinions of the older set to base "what could have been" on.

I agree, if we're going to do a East-West split, do it without any strange deviations...even ones that put my school with more natural rivals.

So am I! I have enjoyed following all of our NBE schools this season and will surely be even more enthused in the future. One for all and all for one!04-cheers

I, for one, am pretty excited that we're entering a conference where the fans don't already hate us, and the other schools only let us in because they felt they had no other option than to let in a school that is beneath them. All the BE teams and fans seem happy that Boise is coming, and that's just awesome. And I'm enjoying rooting for the BE teams this season. 02-13-banana

Granted, the hatred may still come when you all have to deal with our many online trolls on a regular basis. We've got some serious idiots in our fanbase. I guess everyone does, though.

Everyone has trolls and idiots. I wouldn't sweat it.

As of now, I like Boise. I root for you in every game. But if you beat my teams annually by 40 points, I will hate you.

UConn & SMU need to get up to speed.

That would put Louisville in the west with Memphis.
