Isn't it funny how a new conference can give you a whole bunch of new teams to root for? I'm liking it!!

Yeah, I find myself rooting for Louisville to win all of their games......which is unfathomable as a true Tigers fan.

Keep your head up 99Tiger. Things are actually looking up. Finally we have an A.D. in place who actually cares about football, we have a coaching staff who actully know what they're doing, we have big money boosters who are now getting behind the football program. Even though the current record doesn't show it, you can see improvement in the play from week to week. Our facilities are finally up to standard and better than most with the new football only weight room, 4 outdoor practice fields with one being newly installed artificial turf, new football locker rooms, and a soon to be indoor practice facility. The Liberty Bowl stadium has been renovated with the new playing surface, the new mega large video board jumbo tron and Tiger lane for tailgating is second to none. Also recruiting is going well as evidenced by the early commits. Plus, we're finally going to be a part of a REAL conference come next year when we enter the BEAST. So yea 99Tiger, keep your head up, it's just a matter of time when the football Tigers will be doing their part.........GO TIGERS.

I'm pleased with the path were on, but until we arrive at the destination I will be a bit self-deprecating.

I want to see Nevada and Air Force added right now. With the last (16th) spot goes to BYU or Fresno State. Then West East is well balanced.

Right now we have 8 eastern schools and 5 western schools. I really don't want to see either Navy or Memphis forced to be in the West Division.

Even if you add 3 western teams to get to 16, either Memphis or Navy has to be in the West. I'm slowly coming around to the idea of adding 3 western teams, going to 16, leaving Navy out West, and sending Memphis to the East.

I, for one, am pretty excited that we're entering a conference where the fans don't already hate us, and the other schools only let us in because they felt they had no other option than to let in a school that is beneath them. All the BE teams and fans seem happy that Boise is coming, and that's just awesome. And I'm enjoying rooting for the BE teams this season. 02-13-banana

Granted, the hatred may still come when you all have to deal with our many online trolls on a regular basis. We've got some serious idiots in our fanbase. I guess everyone does, though.

You can't really assume all things are equal though. To be fair, CUSA and the MWC are both pretty horrible.
