Does Nielsen have enough cash left over from last years ticket purchases to buy out the stadium again?

Will alumni still get in free since demand is greater than usual?? I buy one season ticket every year but usually give that to the person that goes with me and I use my student ID to get into the stadium...

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend even though it's supposed to be cloudy. Can't be exposed to sun very long for the next 6 weeks due to having photo dynamic therapy done last week. Skin is really red, swollen and now peeling. Didn't think it would be this bad, but the results are supposed to be nice. Somebody root for me, LOUDLY! Don't see anywhere that it's going to be on TV.....

I don't see any video anywhere, not even the press box shot with radio we used to have. It's going to be hard for BWW to show it if nobody is shooting it.

Ummm pretty sure we have to shoot it to provide instant replay.

That is good to know. I didn't see any link for streaming like they usually show. The video column is just blank.

No, there is no way we well sell out a MAC game in advance at this point. Now if Alabama, Notre Dame or LSU was coming to town it would be another story. It's all going to depend on the walk-up and sadly that goes hand-in-hand with what Mother Nature is doing.

As of now, the game is not a sellout. They expect a large walk up crowd.

Got my tickets yesterday. Although I wish I were in Ohio solely for the game, I have some family business to get on with after the game. I hear it is going to be sunny and in the 70's, right?

You know the rats have deserted the sinking ship that is Akron football so I wouldn't expect the usual contingent of their fans.

That's ok, they'll be replaced by the bandwagon jumpers on KSU's side that wanted the program shut down.

But speaking of old claims, PH, how do you like Joel Nielsen now?

Just by hiring a new staff doesn't fix anything on the spot...down the road it may turn out right (and it seems it did) but nobody has the foresight to know that at the time. So as they struggled mightily through the beginning of 2011 they were all blasted here by people mad at the focus and $ going to football. Same AD, same coaching staff and mostly the same roster as last year yet the geniuses right here tore them up are now singing the praises. But don't believe me, just page back to last season's posts and you'll know which phonies said what. Anyway, I hope the true fans enjoy the success the football squad is having, there are some that have been loyal a long time.

PH- Monday's not your day to point fingers and declare who is a "true fan" and whose not. Tuesday through Sunday aren't either.
