This all means nothing as Ohio is #26. Where did you find such convoluted rankings on the interwebs? And what's the criteria, listed alphabetically by height?

The predictor is supposed to be more accurate if your betting on games.
That factors in margin of victory. The BCS doesn't use margin of victory.
As far as the BCS it didn't matter if Ohio beat UMass or Buffalo by 3 or 50. Just win baby, that is all that matters to the BCS computer rankings. Ohio is 35 in the computer and 31 in the coaches poll. Another couple weeks of six or more top 25 teams getting beat will help us even more.
Oregon State is 10th in the country. That means it doesn't take much to get into the top 12.

Which is ironic, because the reason Ohio was even mentioned as a possible BCS buster was because their schedule was soft. It wasn't because the national media suddenly thought they were a legit top 15 team.

Ohio is a Top 40 program playing an easy schedule.
We aren't a Top 20 program like Boise State yet but we are getting there with improved recruiting from all these wins.

I think you're a top 40 program because you play an easy schedule. Look at BG... their losses are Florida, VT, and Toledo. We don't know if they're a top 40 program yet.
I'm not so sure after the last two weeks if OU is better than some of the other teams in the MAC.

Maybe there are none, and we're blinded by our Big East and Big10 wins?
Maybe Kent, Toledo, OU, and NIU haven't beaten anyone worth squat... that's another way to look at it.
The sagarins I posted have us humble and beyond the top 50. We all might be getting ahead of ourselves.

LOL...Vitale has never mentioned a college bball team negatively. The closest he's ever come is when a team faces NCAA penalties and he says something like "it's gonna be tough times at this University, but I know with so and so as a HC, they will come back strong and right the ship." (in so many words)
Every team is a "watch out, don't sleep on them" team.
So exhausting.

Today's Plain-Dealer:
Cupcake to flank steak: After opening the season with an upset of Penn State (4-2), Ohio has rolled against teams with a combined 10-25 record, and that includes 2-4 Football Championship Subdivision school Norfolk State. The next six opponents have a combined record of 14-21, and that includes the one-win Zips and winless (0-5) Eastern Michigan.
