Tells you all you need to know about where he comes from.

Actually Max and his ilk can be summed up with one word.....Envy.

You can be summed up in 5: I've got mine, f--- you.

Step 1: Cut spending that helps the poor
Step 2: Cut taxes for the rich
Step 3: ??????
Step 4: Jobs for everybody!

I love how you liberals are so certain of Romney's motives.

Why don't you just admit you hate rich republicans and quit dancing around it. It's all transparent and truly pathetic.

Where is the requirement that he release them?

None. There's no requirement that a President be anything but born in the USA and be over 35 years old. But I think we should know more about a President than .. he's alive, he was born here, and he is older than 35.

I think a Presidential candidate should disclose his financial records for five years, so that we can see how the candidate operates and where his money comes from. We still don't know.

You don't make the rules. Mittens did MORE than is necessary and PAID the legally due theft to the government. THIS is DONE.

Fo - Tom and Maxi's real issue is that Romney chose what charities to give to......as you know, only people like Tom and Maxi are smart enought to know how to spend Mitts money. Therefore, Romney should have half his money confiscated so that people like Tom and Maxi can spend it on things they deem important.

It doesn't matter that he legally gave to charities......it wasn't the correct charities.

No my problem is that it isn't a charity at all. The Mormon Church does very little for the needy. What little they do appears to be for photo op and PR purposes. Mitt Romney giving $1 million to the Mormon Church is a charitable donation of about $4k, probably less.

Romney gave more to charities than all of the Dems in congress combined.

Interesting that you hate people that would take time out of their schedule to minister to a kid dying of cancer, and even help him write his will. Interesting that you hate someone who would provide a loan to a couple to buy a home when they couldn't get a mortgage. Or one that organizes a search for a co-workers missing daughter.

Maybe you're the d0*che because you hate a guy you don't really know and hate him for the lone reason that he's rich and he's a republican.

Hatred is a hallmark of liberalism. You, Maxi and Robert illustrate that daily.

You're the one that hates him. Just pointing out some interesting things about the object of your hatred.

Why the f**k do I care what Romney paid in taxes in 2011 or any other year? How does that affect me?

I don't really care at all either, and while there is an argument to be made that it's become part of the expected process for candidates, I really do think the Democrats should just stop even mentioning it because at this point it's better if they don't become public. If he paid a really low tax rate, it's what everyone already assumes (even Republicans at this point, IME) is the case and nothing happens, but if he did pay a respectable rate (which, I really don't think is the case), then it hurts them.

RE: Romney releasing his 2011 taxes
I don't care much about his tax rate. I want to see his 2009 return because there was an IRS amnesty program for people who were hiding assets in HBS Swiss bank accounts that year-- if you declared it and paid a penalty they wouldn't bring charges. .... And he has an HBS Swiss bank account and stops his released returns at 2010.

And I believe you are misstating the facts a bit.
