Romney releasing his 2011 taxes
http://www.mittromney.com/blogs/mitts-vi...-brad-malt

Full-monty for 2011 and "summaries" (?) for 1990-2010.

He could have saved himself a lot of grief by doing this a year ago.

How does one release their 2011 tax returns in 2011?

Well, I meant if he had released his then-current tax returns a year ago.

The point is, he has tried to create a zone of privacy around an issue that most voters think should not be private when it comes to presidential candidates. I am an intensely private person and would never seek any public office for which I had to make that kind of disclosure. So I understand where Romney is coming from on that issue. But for most American voters, it's something they have grown accustomed to over the past 30~ years, and politically it was foolish of Romney to try and swim against that stream. I am glad that he is no longer doing so.

Guess this will be the focus of the media next week. Wonder when Cutter will call him a felon again?

Heh, that is true.

Except in this case, it will still be a very major news-story, anyway. (Don't you agree?)

The MSM, HuffPo, Kos, and all the other usual suspects will be poring over every last detail and decimal point, looking for anything at all to use against him. Romney and his advisers should have expected such a reaction, and maybe they did. I just wish I could be certain of it.

We will all find out together.

The price of gas is still through the roof, right next to unemployment, and the Middle East is in flames, White House blundering has gotten how many people killed in the last week and a half.

But if that bastard Romney has fudged the first jot or tittle on his tax returns...

Oh, who am I kidding?

There doesn't have to actually be anything wrong with them for the left to hammer him on them anyway.

He's rich. That's enough reason alone for them to hate him.

He's not releasing details. We won't know about 'donations' to trusts, payments of fines for possible penalties for illegal tax shelters, details of legal foreign tax shelters, etc.

They did. Hence releasing "summaries" only.

And with all the birth certificate crap Obama took...Mittens shouldn't look for much sympathy from the left here.

Thing is, people old enough to be president who are still poor probably wouldn't make a particularly good president.

Fair enough.

Remember how ridiculous those people sounded?

Well, that's you now. Congratulations.

Correct! Clearly, the summary means he didn't actually file tax returns and the notarized documents are forgeries filled with lies because the seal is not raised and it's not in the correct font. Plus I'm certain he can't release the actual tax returns as it will show his occupation as 'Grand Wizard' 03-yawn

Romney gave away 30% of his income last year. What a scumbag he is. He doesn't care about regular people.

You happy, libs? There you have it. Romney's tax return from just an ordinary run of the mill year of his life when he had no reason to believe anyone would want to read it: 2011.

Now, why won't Barack HUSSEIN Obama release records from his 1974 dentists appointment where he used Kenyan state insurance????

Who do you think gave a higher percentage of their income to charity, Romney or Maxi? I'm betting Romney.
