RE: Week 2 Predictions

UNT 37, Texas Southern 10 - No Contest
FIU 30, Akron 21 - FIU looked bad against Duke, Akron looked bad against UCF. The game being at home will help FIU.
(Current SBC)
MT 24, FAU 17 - I think that MT got the tougher matchup against a fairly good Mcneese team, and while I was disappointed in that loss, FAU scored 7 points against a team that has 35 scholarship players, that in my opinion is WORSE than losing to Mcneese who is probably a top 25 FCS team.
stAte 35, Memphis 14 - stAte bounces back against a team they just plain outclass.
ULM 17, Arkansas 37 - Still don't know what we're gonna get from ULM, Defense should be alright, offense might be alright, regardless Arkansas is a good team albeit in a wierd situation after the offseason turmoil. Will be close at half, not so close at the final whistle.
WKU 14, Alabama 42 - Bama is the best team in the country, WKU is alright, but just cant compete, hell no one can compete, only maybe 3-4 teams in the country could even make this a game.
USA 24, Nicholls 21 - I hope USA will bounce back here, I think this is important for USA to get some positive momentum.
(The Future)
Texas State 24, Texas Tech 32 - Man, Texas state really showed some positive momentum yesterday, I hope thats a preview of things to come. I don't think they have the team to beat Texas Tech, but I didn't think they had the team to beat Houston either. Still, even with a loss, I think they will keep it close an interesting all the way through and scare the crap out of the visitors.
Tennessee 60, Georgia State 17 - Mostly garbage time scores for GSU, I think they will get going, but No team surprised me more in week 1 than Tennessee, they were amazing and GSU just isn't even close.
And now, its time for....
UL 31, Troy 28 - This game is gonna be good, Troy is playing at home in front of a great crowd, and they haven't lost a home opener in something like 2 decades, and the Cajuns haven't won a road opener in something like 2 decades, but these arent normal times. UL looked great in all aspects of the game, but played a team in their 2nd year of football, it was nice to see the defense show up. Troy had a good showing in a rivalry game to start the season and they needed that after last season. Offense was great, defense did give up a few points though. I think the Cajuns pull this out late in the 4th, but honestly, this game can go either way, I don't think either team wins by more than a TD.
I agree either way.....do not necessarily agree with your choice who wins but it should be a good game. and a good start to the conference for whom either wins.
