Wow, smack talk from a UCONN fan? Really? Your the pinnacle of "big time" college football.

By the way... aren't you guys still asking the ACC for memebership on a weekly basis? 03-lmfao

Are we pinnacle of big time football? We only been in FBS 7 years so we are working towards it. One thing I do know is Pitt certainly is nowhere close to pinnacle of "big time" football. As for basketball, you are known more for your choking more than anything else.

What's funny is a Pitt fan trying to talk smack. Is UCONN asking for an ACC membership on a weekly basis? I would not know. If I am running UCONN, I would not. We fans have nothing to do with it regardless.

You should just change your school slogan to "Keep on choking". It fits your school perfectly.

Keep on cheating Uclown... keep on cheating.

Well, we can't be as cool as Pitt. Not many schools got as many criminals as you guys. We simply can't compete with Pitt here.

Oh yeah, even with all that you guys still suck.

It can get especially out of control when one party believes the other is in a fruitful situation that the other party feels they do not deserve.

Example would be fellow Big East fans about Pitt. They feel that since Pitt has been an underachieving football team with a lackluster fan base it is totally unfair that the ACC chose them and not their school? Thus, they go overboard in the rooting of the destruction of both Pitt and said conference that didn't choose them. They then see none of their qualities in Pitt but then make fun of Pitt's short comings as if they attending the Ohio State University.

Don't give yourself that much credit. Many of us are fine with the longtime Pitt posters here, but now couldn't care less about most topics involving Pitt overall unless they also involve our own teams or league wide topics. Pitt moved on and many posters have as well.

Then why do I constantly see Pitt topics brought up on this board? Pitt posters are not starting these threads, just responding to the garbage posted in them.

No clue.

Here's a thought...why not send a pm to the OP that started this thread and ask HIM why.

Just a suggestion...(i.e. go to the source of any and all threads...and just ask them).

I hate to say it, but most Pitt fans are scared of Appalachia folk

It's a low number for sure but it's a Thursday night game. Opposing fans generally don't travel well to those games. Especially after a night game on Saturday. You would basically have to take off two days of work to go to that game. No thanks. Not that interested in visiting Cincinnati.

crappy stadium, in the middle of a ghetto, on a Thursday night. Seriously?

We all know everyone is just keeping their powder dry until they see if this team is worth their time this year. It's not right, but it's how it's gonna be for a while.

Come home for VT at 2-0 and there will be some buzz.

Yep. And to that point, Make a point not even to drive through Ohio, let alone spend time there.

You guys need to move on with the Pitt bashing because at the end of the day our schools are all similar in terms of size / attendance / winning etc... So now that we are leaving don't act like we are the only urban school in the Big East with shotty attendance and mediocre on field product.

I'd start by working on your reading comprehension. I just told you I have moved on, and then you tell me I need to move on.

Not you specific, but many of have not. Clearly by the amount of constant Pitt bashing on the Big East boards...such as this thread? Doesn't seem like moving on?

Come on guys.

Cant we all just get along?

Seriously, though. Pitt and SU fans need to stay away from this board if we cant take the vitriol on this boar regarding our respective schools. No sense in getting into senseless and childish arguments over this crap. We only have less than a year to go and then we can all just move on along.
