One name I've heard from several sources is Dustin Creel.

Quincy Jones is another one I've heard. They seem to be the two freshman stand outs thus far.

Even though details are still hard to come by, it seems that English has found good newcomers at a number of positions which he sought to fill holes, such as DL, WR, and maybe DB. The rest of the positions are manned by highly skilled returnees.

This is the key: Can the newcomers compliment the returnees and fill the holes left by graduation. esp on defense.

I'm having a cup of coffee and back to bed.... 03-cloud9

So far looking good (with the newcomers, not referring to my coffee, although it is pretty hard to mess up a cup of coffee unless you pay $2.29 in a restaurant and it is old coffee. That ain't good when it is 'fresh and free at home'. 02-13-banana ).

RE: Wide Recievers
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if Creel, Dawkins and Jones saw significant time this year.
It looks like Kevin Wheeler and Kelip Goodwin are no longer on the roster and with Nick Olds hurt
there isn't much of a "veteran" presence out there...

BTW. I was reading in the USA Today that some schools have named their starters (the article was about WI starting another (!) ACC 5-year transfer QB).

We should be seeing 2-deeps pretty soon, I'd hope.

Danny O’Brien has TWO years left because he graduated early from Maryland.

I'll check the EMU website if Coleman also has two years left.

Answer:

I think Coleman has two years also.

He started at NCSU Spring 2009 and apparently graduated playing 2 years and red shirting one.
