Why does he need a second term when he said he could do it during his first? And why does he need to make promises, when, unlike Romney, Obama IS the president and can do it now? Why do we need to wait until some unspecified date in the future for him to do something now or should have done in the past?

Sadly the answer is the majority of us do not want a socialist country so he would lose by a landslide if he did this before the election. Plus, he must need more than one term to emplement everything he wants to do and make sure it sticks. It scares me to think of what could happen with another 4 years of Obama.

What scares me is that so many in this country can't recognize Marxism when it is spoken as clearly as that example.

While Paul Ryan is saying:

If I was a communist I probably wouldn't appreciate the Right's ridiculous hijacking of that word to mean any taxing and spending they don't like.

What worries me is that virtually everyone here thinks it is the government's job to guide the economy.

It isn't.

It's the government's job to insure liberty and tranquility.
