RE: Leek Leek and Antwon Oliver
Thanks for the links, toley!
I didn't know about Oliver. Will he and Leek Leek be eligible this coming season? Neither is listed on the gocamels.com MBB roster, yet.
We also have a freshman guard out of Phoenix, Casey Perrin, who Darius Leonard called the most impressive newcomer he's seen this summer.
Impressive that in a single season we're getting talent that includes players originally offered by Iowa State (Oliver) and solid mid-majors like VCU (McCarter), Kent State (Leonard), and Wisc-Milwaukee (Leek).
Whose spots are these newcomers taking, though? Looks like J. Wright is no longer on the roster but I haven't noticed anyone else missing.

OrangeCamel thanks for the response!
From what I am hearing they will be eligible to play. The school has just not updated the roster yet. I do not know whose spot they will be taking. I know Casey Perrin is a wallk on. I think they may redshirt a couple of the freshman but well see. I know you have not seen any of these new guys play any thought on the Depth chart!
Thanks

Will Trae Bremer receive any playing time this year after redshirting last season? Also, where will signee DJ Mason be in the lineup?

I think Mason plays more than Bremer. Bremer is behind two guys already in Leonard and Kalpic. He might play in emergency situations (foul trouble, injury, etc.).
The other issue is the pace at which the team will play. Will Bremer be able to run the floor at 250 lbs.? I know Campbell will only be looking to speed up play considering the strength on the perimeter play and experience out there.

RE: Leek Leek and Antwon Oliver
Doing some more research, Oliver looks like a super addition at anytime in the recruiting class let alone this late!
He is a 6-6 athletic wing with some skill. He shoots the three ball very well and has really improved his ball handling. He originially signed with Iowa State out of HS. I think he will most definitely be in the mix to start at the 2 or 3 along with White.
PG - Freeman
SG - White
SF - Oliver
PF - McCarter
PF - Leonard
I am sure that isn't correct, but thats a pretty solid look with long lean and athletic all over the floor. Up-tempo will be the name of the game.

Doesn't Rico McCarter have to sit out a year?

RE: Leek Leek and Antwon Oliver
Nope. He is immediately elligible!
"A 6-foot-6 guard-forward, McCarter sat out as a red-shirt, but practiced with the VCU team that won the 2011 Colonial Athletic Association and NCAA Southwest Region championships en route to the Final Four. As a freshman last season, he appeared in 10 games and averaged 0.6 points for the CAA champs that advanced to the third round of the NCAA tourney.
He was granted a transfer waiver by the NCAA and will be eligible to participate immediately for the Camels."

I don't care what people want to say, but CU has never seen a roster this full of basketball talent. In fact, the level of talent this class has is pretty astounding.

I agree, the coaching staff has done an excellent job bringing these guys in. I think we are the most talented team in the conference. But just because we have the most talent doesn't mean that will translate into wins. I hope the coaching staff develops a good rotation and finds a way to utilize the talent.
