So, who was the one (or ones) who said SK wasn't athletic enough to d-up. That swat of the breakaway layup was a thing of beauty.

Go Bonnies!

I have no idea. I was following the Texas game thread which was far more entertaining. It is way better to follow a meltdown when it is another team's fans. Reading their thread in the first half brought a huge smile to my face.

Same here. Shaggybevo is hilarious. Those guys don't hold back at all.

It ranks up there with the Michigan St board as one of my favorite to read just for laughs. Their off topics threads are hilarious.

RE: UC-Texas Game Thread
ok. survived a meltdown, a typical uc style meltdown. i don't think there is anything this team can learn from it. these are the types of things you work on in the middle of the season. let's sit back and hopefully watch the the bearcats hit some 3's. i said to the guy next to me at the bar while dixon got poked in the eye. said, "jackson can find an invisible piece of plastic on the ground, but can't find the back of the basket on a free throw."

None of us were happy with the blown big lead, but I was glad to see the subs in there for a lot of minutes. We'll certainly be rested Sunday.

In contrast, Florida State will likely be tired.

RE: UC-Texas Game Thread
Was down in Nashville for the game. Drove back. Will drive back down on Sunday.
Great seats through UC. 200 club level at mid court. Awesome view.

Thoughts: Nice contingent of UC fans. Wished there were more considering the easy drive.
Saint Bonnies fans outnumbered UC fans and they were crazy loud. Hoping more UC fans make the trip down on Sunday.

Although it was depressing to give up the big lead and it should've been bigger at the half (refs sure bailed out Texas a number of times sending them to the freethrow line!) UC showed it's maturity by closing out the game in the last 3:30 and winning it. At the timeout once Texas tied the game, when UC came out of the timeout you could see the confidence in their faces...they knew they had the game even though the rest of us were doubting. Real fortitude.

UC needs Cashmere in the game. Period. Foul trouble must be avoided on Sunday.

Yancy played really well as did JaQoun. They all need to make FTs but at least they made them when the game was on the line.

Funniest part of the game was when UT scored their 3rd point after sitting on 2 for so long. The entire arena including UC fans cheered. Barnes was laughing a little on the bench. Their offense was just so inept in the first half (I'm glad it was too)

On the Saint Bonnies/FSU game (only saw first half)
Saint Bonnies went toe to toe with FSU. I was not impressed with FSUs vaunted Defense. Saint Bonnies did pretty much whatever they wanted against it.

After watching both teams in person I can not begin to predict what will happen on sunday. I really can't. I just have no idea what kind of game it'll be. If you can make the trip please do. The Cats will need loud rowdy fans to pull the upset.

BTW Saint Bonnies has the best cheerleaders pound for pound.

RE: UC-Texas Game Thread
As stated by some already...UC not the same with Cash out for long stretches...I don't think UT comes back like they do with Cash at point....

Cats once again made my tummy hurt but once again, they get it done.

we are a tough a## team

RE: UC-Texas Game Thread
I didn't have a feeling that UC was going to loose at all. Everyone knows that this team can't put other teams away, but those Big East games really prepared these guys for close ones. It clearly showed that we were the older team with more experience.
