Congrats West Virginia fans on collecting a commitment from Gwaltney.
The death of the Big East is a little premature, don't you think?

I saw that also and called my kid that attends WVU to share with him the good news. I later read apiece on rivals and according to the article Gwaltney is furious with the writer of the Newsday article and stated that he has not committed anywhere yet.

That's great to hear...but Mountineer fans (including myself) have been on such a roller coster ride with Gwaltney we'll have to wait untill he announces tomorrow...If he goes to WVU that would be huge....best RB in the east...broke a lot of Jim Brown's rushing records in NY...it would probably vault WVU class into the Top 30 nationally

Big news if West Virginia can lock him down. That definitely has to make them a Top 25 team next year. Good news on the recruiting front for the Big East. Pitt is coming around, and UC, an afterthought by most in the Big East shuffle is bringing in possibly a Top 50 recruiting class. Great job by everybody!
