RE: If Callaway stays???
If Paris had an American-rules football team with Callaway as coach they would have fired him long ago.

I am certain our resident Frenchman will back me up on this.

03-lmfao This is the 2nd or 3rd reference someone here has made to "Frenchy's" driving prowess...What gives?

Frenchie has broken many of the laws of the State of Alabama, and 2 or 3 of the laws of physics.

yes but all of those laws were confined to traffic violations.

lets just say of your driving anything close to the speed limit you would experience the doppler effect if passed by Frenchy

He was driving in my neighborhood one day and I actually got behind him. I only saw the back of that salt flats racer for a full 2 seconds to recognize the tag, and after that he was in the next county.

IF FBHC Callaway is retained, it probably would be an admission that the B'ham based administration has little to do with the REAL decision-making in ANYTHING OF SIGNIFICANCE at UAB. We are just along for the ride.

Pretty much what I stated in my letter to Rogers and Bell about the stadium. Who is really running this athletic program and for that matter, the city of Birmingham? We're about to find out once and for all on or before February 2. This reminds me of a quote I heard the late David Janssen state to a ruthless adversary in an episode of "The Fugitive"..."If I'm not against you , I'm for you...& if I'm for you, I'm lost!"

No. You got that ticket due to guilt by association. 03-lmfao

Exactly. They never could catch Frenchy, so best they could do is stop a car with Frenchy in it.

I have ridden in the car with Frenchy when he drove us to Memphis, and I have been skydiving... The biggest difference is that the trip to Memphis lasted longer.

There are some who say that if he's fired this year, then this was the last year for UAB football.

There are some who say the world will end every year. Someday one of those people may be correct.

Exactly. A stopped clock is right twice a day....that's more than some people I know.
