If Callaway stays, I can think of 6 people that deserve to be run, none of them named Attalla.

I really don't understand why the "Callaway Gone" thread was posted. It's been reported that members of the BOT have people monitoring this board. If Mackin and Garrison was exercising their right to fire their own coach without interference from the board, and wanted to make a hire without premature interference from the BOT, then that thread blew it.

Unless, the BOT is well aware of everything that Mackin and Garrison are doing with regard to the firing and hiring of a coach.
Or maybe the thread is a red herring.

This! And the fact that the mere notion of retaining him for another season is a clear indication & validation to the suspicions that someone else besides Mackin and Garrison is/are calling the shots. This would not even be an issue if Callaway was head coach of alabama or Auburn, he'd have been gone long before his 5th season. This doesn't even pass the "smell test!" They (BOT) knows that & may try to play that card as a weapon to further alienate and infuriate the Blazers football fan base.


"Attalla" has made it crystal clear that he wants Callaway to hit the highway, it's safe to assume that his sentiments mirror the majority of Blazer Nation in this regard. I don't dislike the man, but this will not bode well if he's brought back with his horrendous W-L record. What was that hit recording that "The Four Tops" had? It's just the same old song, but with a different beat if he gets gone!

Attalla is fine. I posted that UAB would get the stadium and no one could stop it. This source was the best source I have ever had. I ended up telling the source the stadium would not be but. He was socked and then very mad. The source was correct at the time he told me about the stadium. I underestimated PBJ that was my fault. It will not happen again, I hope.

C'Mon Man...You think that they are under the delusion that anyone who loves UAB wants him to stay? I hardly think this thread would be the one that "blew it".

The difference is that Atalla guaranteed that he heard the news, and acknowledged that it's not written in stone. Blazr guaranteed a firing and attacked anybody that dared to suggest that it wasn't written in stone

If Callaway stays, I'll be the second most demoralized Blazer fan than I've ever been, since 2006, when Watson should have been thrown out the year before, and wasn't.

If Neil Callaway is the head coach next year, that is the last year for UAB football.
