I could understand making fun of Nick Lachee if your team had SOMEONE to claim as better. Are the Soggy Bottom Boys USM fans? Maybe Ricky Skaggs?

Hmm, maybe if you actually looked up some facts, you'd be more than laughable.

20%? Show me the link where you got that number.

Here's my shot back at you: SMiss!? Don't they have a dog for a football coach or something? Like they are really ugly too. And do they even have degrees? You guys aren't even acredited.

See how much sense that post makes? Yours make slightly less.

Our conference might be laughable, but we are getting the big BCS check... that is a lot more than CDOA can say for itself. CDOA has NO CHANCE of ever getting into the BCS, so you guys might as well go talk smack to the MAC. If another conference were to ever take it from the Big East it would be the MWC. Most likely the MWC would be added to become the 7th conference if that did happen.

"Guidugli and his team’s work didn’t end with their win over Marshall at the Fort Worth Bowl last December however. They carried their success into the classroom, raising the football team’s 72% graduation rate in 2003 to 86% in 2004. This earned them recognition for academic excellence from the American College Football Coaches Association."

Let's see, if you do your math 3 teams out of 8 is 37.5 percent of our teams are in the top 35. there are five other BCS conferences. All together there are 64 BCS teams. If everyone has 37.5 percent of their teams in the top thirty, that's twenty-five teams which leaves 10 slots for independents, MAC, WAC, MWC, C-USA, etc. Our three is comparable to the Big 12, ACC, or SEC having 5....or the Pac 10 or Big 10 having 4. It might also be comparable to C-USA or one of the other mid majors having one team in the top 30. So what's so terrible about that 03-confused

You guys are Div 1AA at best!
I would be embarrased to be a South Florida fan!!!
Cute.

Here's some fun facts for you:

USM has the series on USF since USF moved up to 1-a, 2-1. USF was not out of the game last year, and last year was our worst performance in 1-a. Look for us to be better this year.

UC, predicted to be near the bottom of the conference this year for whatever reason, has a WINNING series against the supposed greatness of USM...in FOOTBALL (dont even mention basketball).

Compare the wins of USM and USF over the last 4 years. See if there's any significant difference. And then consider that we didnt even have 1-a recruits all 4 of those years. Looks kinda bad for USM in that light.

USM mocking louisville based on the 18-8 series lead is pretty stupid. That reminds me very much of a kansas fan mocking kansas states MAJOR deficit in wins during the time that KSU won the big 12. Many of USM's wins over UL are pretty old.

Top to bottom, the BE is 6th in the land just ahead of the MWC going into this season. CUSA's bottom is REALLY at the bottom. The BE has tons of potential given some favorable conditions for a very strong top 2-3 teams, which is all an 8-9 team BCS conference realisticly needs.

Now, I'm not going to go around parading that USM sucks, they don't. But you act as if they're far and away better than half of the teams in this conference, and to put it simply, they aren't. Relax and quit with the weak flames.

Ill tell you who we are!

The last time we played your "top dog team" Pittsburgh we beat them 41-7
We own Louisville 18-8 alltime record.

Who is Syracuse?
Ill tell you who they are.
A poor excuse for a college football team.
You guys are always mediocre at best.

Schedule Southern Miss one Saturday and you will find out who we are.
Oh nevermind you have those killer games versus Connecticut,Rudgers,Cinci,South Florida to worry about in your awesome conference.
South Florida beat USM in tampa in the past, and Cincy was a significant factor in USM NOT winning CUSA 2 of the past 3 years...and yet you mock schools for playing us?

i thought the proper pronunciation for "Southern Miss" was "southern myth."

and it is altogether fitting and proper that you remain confused in the aftermath of your experience there, claimed or real.

Thank you for pointing out Cuse's ranking in bold. It looks like UAB is ranked higher than Cuse. I guess that means that UAB is a higher profile program than Cuse now. Thats how your mind works right Dragon. 03-razz

Why does CUSA have so many schools ranked in the 100's?

Thats right. you better be scared of the Cuse. :D Besides Louisville, we would have won CUSa last year. Afterall, we did beat the #2 cusa team last year.

Isnt it funny that the #1 and #2 schools in CUSA are now in the BE?

have fun with Rice and SMU and the like. Utep has 1 winning season in years, and they are predicted to win CUSA after going 7-4 in the regular season. Impressive.

Yes, and the mighty Cuse beat the #2 Cusa team last year, the same Cincy team that destroyed USM by close to 40 points. What does that say about Cusa last year, when a team like Cuse beats your #2 team? :D Thats what I thought.
