RE: Kansas Game Thread
It's kind of discerning how much negativity there is in this thread.

I'm with the Huskies, Doeren, Harnish, and the D through thick and thin. The Defense is young and inexperienced. They will live and learn. Bring on Wisconsin and bring on the rest of the schedule. This still is and can be a successful season. One week at a time.

Well. I'm signing off and enjoy watching ND blow one. God bless the heroes of 9-11 and our military fighting for us. We're a great country and we deserve leaders who will get the right things done for us.

RE: Kansas Game Thread
im not sure i will be back for a while....after 28 years of this...of promises from the coaching staff etc....and after seeing how awful this defense really is (an how poorly coached....watch the tackling) and after SO many last mintue disappointments (name one game where we actually pulled it out int he last minute)...i cant wear my huskie pride well tonight. Time for a break for me....DD....this one is on you!

I am glad I did not make the journey down there to watch those f***ing clowns on defense lay a huge turd on the field. At least my expectations have been severely lowered for the Wisconsin game so that I won't be disappointed when they hang 70 on us. I'm glad we get Butler and Clark back next year.

Well after seeing Toledo today I do not see any way we beat them with this defense. The leak is bigger than the Titanic after it hit the iceberg.

RE: Kansas Game Thread
How are we even supposed to 'enjoy' this offense when the defense ruins all of their efforts? They let more people through than a Wal-Mart greeter. Every time NIU was on offense I was elated as they were easily able to move the ball, but that emotion quickly subsided every time we had to kick the ball back to KU because I knew what was ahead. It was sickening listening to it on the radio, Baker would call out "3rd down for KU..." the play would begin, and I'd hear the KU crowd begin to roar as they converted EVERY FRICKIN TIME.

That is the worst tackling I've seen in about 5 years. Just horrible.

Or not. Ridiculous final 90 seconds in this game.

Not saying we win this game if he did...but how much of an impact do you think Melvin has on this game if he plays?

I mean, there were tackles missed in the backfield, but our secondary was brutal at tackling today. Just brutal.

EDIT: Notre Dame loses again hahahahahhahahahahaha makes my night a little less miserable.

TThats an exaggeration...they only managed 13 of 18 3rd downs but got 2 more of those on forth down and one more with a FG....yes...they punted once.

After watching Notre Dame blow one, their defense might be worse than ours.

Except they were playing Michigan. We were playing Kansas.
