Not the primary rival, but a lot of Akron fans enjoy games against Buffalo in a friendly sort of rivalry. The interactions between True Blue and the AK-Rowdies help a lot.

Thanks uakronkid.. I agree that the fan bases help a lot and I think we have had some good battles in men's hoops and men's soccer over the last couple of years.

To put it into perspective the bus companies screwed up sop badly that we sued them out of existence (literally) and the band was stuck on the corner of 5th and Chestnut in downtown Philly which apparently is not a safe place to be late at night. Thankfully a local church took us in around 4am.

If you think 5th and Chestnut is bad, I don't think you would ever be able to live in a city...It is in one of the higher end and historical areas of Philadelphia...

Well I go off what the local police were saying. Gun shots did not help either...

I agree, but that is one game all season.. Then what do you do for the rest of year? I know we don't have rivals and I don't expect any team to consider us a rival.

Notre Dame and Southern Cal have a football rivalry, and they only play 1 game a year. Missourri and Illinois are football rivals, and they aren't in the same conference. Florida and Florida State have their football rivalry. It's harder than ever to get an interconference rivalry going with the BCS cartel, but I'm sure it can be done.

Florida and Florida State are rivals in everything. They play each other in most everything (at least that I have seen I admit I have not gone and looked to see if every year in every sport they have played each other) though obviously football is most important there.
