Pro day was today:
Phil Swanson
Juan Nunez
Jamail Berry
Drew Burdi (to throw to Juan)
Nick Mithchell
were the starters from last fall
On the lifting Phil hit 22 reps
Nick did 21
Juan did 11 reps.
the scouts that were present were from New England, Lions, Carolina and Indy. Few others but, not sure on the teams.
It was obvious they were there for Juan Nunez. Juan has bulked up and looked bigger than I have ever seen him. For a skill position player to lift 225#'s 11 times, not too shabby!
His routes were crisp and he caught everything thrown even remotely close to him from a rusty back-up Q.B.
His 40 yard dash was a sub 4.0 !!! Juan told me 3.37 & 3.38
He seemed very happy with his overall performance and had the scouts talking!

No it isnt unless you are strapped to some sort of rocket. I take what he said to mean sub 4.40. A 4.37 and 4.38 are still a very fast time.

My bad! It was late when I posted. 4.37 and 4.38. Still burning!

That sounds more like it. Speed has never been Nunez's problem, he has always been one of the fastest wide receiver's I have ever seen. staying healthy has been his biggest problem IMO.

RE: WMU Pro Day
I'm sure the Lions would consider him as an outside burner and move Burleson to the slot. But I assume it would be a 6th round pick or a free agent offer.
