they'd better go hard after Christian Eatherly (Mizzou's top OT) or an instate talent(Ryan Glascow?) but with Scott Taylor (Marian Central Catholic) plus Adams, Myers, Ruka and possibly Shoff you have to like the future of the Oline which has been the bedrock of at least the offensive of this team.
Ruka seems solid. Myers seems to be intrigued with the Wisky offer.
Hope he stays, but no ill will if he doesn't.

We are not even in the conversation with Shoff, as far as I can tell.

He said he doesn't want to go to school close to home.
I can understand that; with Ruka & Myers(Wisky top 2 lineman) committed, Scott Taylor committed, news from North Dakota that Adams(top Dakota Olineman) is coming to NIU and either Eatherly(top Mizzou OT) or Shoff(top Nebraska OT) a possibility; the Oline will continue to be a strength and allow NIU to do what few other MAC teams have done well consistently and that is run the ball.

Leo Musso, from Wisconsin, one of our offerees, has picked up a Wisconsin offer, per rivals.

With the recent offers to Levon Myers and now Musso, I think OC Canada is making a few suggestions.

Why are some recruits listed as "Signed LOI" on some of the recruiting services websites?

Surprised Wisc offered. He would have been perfect for our offense. He is not wiggly, more straight ahead fast one cut kinda RB. He would have been perfect with this years Huskies. He would play more here, not sure about his chances in madison. It is amazing the amount of coaches that have left madtown. It seems normal, but does give you questions as to why they had to leave,

There was a mid-year signing period in December for mid-year transfers......meaning JUCO players enrolling in January and high school seniors that were graduating in December and could enroll in January.
High school seniors and JUCO players graduating in the spring cannot sign until February 1st.

No offense to those early Huskie Verbals that keep their word, but....
...I do love surprises (good ones) on Signing Day morning!
(And I think we're gonna have a few!)

I hope he hits the gym hard.
If he can get back down to the 220lbs that he played at while at UNC, and our HUGE OL develops, he will be a BEAST!

EDIT: No wonder he looked sluggish, he's listed a full 27lbs. heavier than the last time he was productive at the FBS level.

He has not been productive at the FBS level.
He played in 2 games for UNC against FCS teams and didn't get many snaps for those.
